  • LITTLE BAD RIDING WOLF

This is one of our most popular shows, wherein three actors come to tell a familiar story, however, they just can't agree on the story they would like to tell.  Once they agree upon a story, the actors walk the audience through the steps of putting on the show, casting, getting into character, finding props costume and so on.  We use a lot of audience participation and improvisation that keeps the show different every time.
  • PUPPETS WITH MORALS

Three brothers, puppets known as Gordy, Ricardo, and Thelonious I, come to read the students a story when they realize none of them can read.  With help from the audience, they read and act out the story of the Little Red Hen.  The audience helps discover the moral of the story and then helps the brothers create  a new story while exploring nouns, adjectives, verbs, and adverbs.

Testimonial

We have had Imagination Central visit for many years.  We have as many as 80-125 children in attendance ranging in ages from 4 to 12 years old.  Every show has been a huge hit with the kids!  Our first show was Tom Sawyer.  I greeted the actors when they arrived and was a bit concerned as they arrived with only a small chest of props.  They enthusiastically greeted our children as they entered the auditorium, carefully seating them in a circular fashion allowing space in the center for the actors and 4 aisles kept clear.  I introduced the show and took a seat. Within seconds the children and I were transported back in time.  We could feel the dampness in the air and see the heavy moss in the trees. We helped white wash a fence and fell head long into the river.  We could see Tom and Becky and we laughed and joined into this tremendous tale as the actors encouraged us to come along.
I am passionate about making Imagination Central a part of every summer for our kids.  Children today have everything already created for them. All they have to do is type in their password and follow the prompts.  Kelly and her crew of actors take children on a spectacular journey and all they have to do is simply unlock their imaginations and hang on.
I would highly recommend this fine team of actors to anyone who loves seeing children blossom as they enter in to the incredible world of imagination.
